Team Audio Galleries Talking Series 2. In this conversation from the Rug Radio Decrypt podcast booth at a conference in Paris, co-founders Ben White and Sigrid discuss the upcoming Audio Galleries Series 2.
They take pride in their achievement of creating content and paying contributing artists over 350,000 last year. They introduce the new managing partner, Rachel Wilkins, who is keen to amplify the voice of artists.
Series 2 brings along the launch of a Collector Pass on the 8th March, on OpenSea. They plan to unveil 10 new ETH drops, in collaboration with talented artists like Alien Queen and Dirty Robot.
Enthusing about the novelty they’re bringing to the Web 3 space, they explain their intention of airdropping an additional piece with the ten collections for Collector Pass holders. There will be no single artwork drops, but multiple editions or generative editions.
They’re also excited about their partnership with Artblocks Engine that provides the capacity for generative code, editions and collections. Open not just for the public, but especially for Collector Pass holders. Expanding into L2, they are partnering with Optimism and will focus on emerging artists, offering them the majority of the revenue share. The team ends the conversation on a note of unity, stating that their focus is both on fine art and the ‘degen’ culture.
